1.2 Trading & Journal Data

The core of EdgeCipher involves recording and analyzing your trading activities. We collect and store:

• Trade records, execution logs, entry/exit details, quantities, prices, and instruments.
• Journal entries, personal notes, reflections, and emotional state records.
• Strategy configurations, trade plans, and risk parameters.
• Performance analytics, P&L calculations, win/loss ratios, and statistical data derived from your trades.
• Delta products, counter data, and module-specific usage information.

1.3 Community & Social Data

• Posts, comments, and discussions you create in community features.
• Likes, reactions, and social interactions with other users' content.
• Community leader status and related permissions.

1.4 AI Coaching & Interaction Data

• All interactions, conversations, inputs, and queries with the Arjun Coach AI module.
• Behavioral patterns, emotional analysis results, and coaching session history.
• Scenario selections, responses, and AI-generated feedback and recommendations.

1.5 Automatically Collected Information

When you access our Platform, we automatically collect the following through cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, log files, and similar tracking technologies:

• Device Information: Device type, model, manufacturer, operating system and version, unique device identifiers, screen resolution, and hardware specifications.

3. Data Sharing & Disclosure

• Legal & Regulatory Authorities: Government agencies, law enforcement, regulators, or courts when required by applicable law, legal process, subpoena, court order, or governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a legal request.
• Protection of Rights: Third parties when we believe disclosure is necessary to enforce our Terms of Service, protect the rights, property, or safety of EdgeCipher, our users, or the public.
• Business Transfers: In connection with any merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, dissolution, sale of company assets, or similar transaction, your personal information may be disclosed, shared with, or transferred to the acquiring or successor entity. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur and that the acquirer may continue to use your information as permitted by this Policy.
• Aggregated & De-identified Data: EdgeCipher may share aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified information that cannot reasonably be used to identify you with any third party for any purpose, including research, analytics, marketing, benchmarking, and commercial purposes, without restriction.

• Essential Cookies: Required for basic Platform functionality, authentication, security, and session management. The Platform cannot function properly without these.

• LocalStorage & SessionStorage: Used to store authentication tokens (ec_auth_token, ec_refresh_token), user preferences, session data, and application state.

By using the Platform, you consent to our use of all categories of cookies and tracking technologies described above. You may configure your browser to block or delete cookies, but doing so may significantly impair the functionality and usability of the Platform. EdgeCipher is not responsible for any reduced functionality resulting from cookie restrictions.

EdgeCipher retains your personal information for as long as:

• Your account remains active on the Platform.
• It is necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the purposes described in this Policy.
• It is required to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, or reporting obligations.

Even after account termination or deletion request, EdgeCipher may retain your data (in whole or in part) for the periods necessary to fulfill the above purposes. Aggregated, anonymized, or de-identified data derived from your information may be retained and used indefinitely without restriction.

EdgeCipher determines retention periods at its sole discretion and is under no obligation to delete data upon account closure unless specifically required by applicable law.

We strongly encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you access. Your interactions with third-party services are governed solely by their respective privacy policies and terms of service. EdgeCipher shall not be liable for any data collection, processing, or breaches by third-party services.

11. Marketing & Communication Preferences

By creating an account on EdgeCipher, you consent to receiving:

• Marketing Communications: Emails, SMS messages, push notifications, and in-app messages about our products, services, features, offers, events, and partner promotions.
• Service Communications: Account notifications, security alerts, verification messages, policy updates, system updates, and administrative notices.
• Educational Content: Trading tips, educational resources, market insights, and AI coaching notifications.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in emails or updating your notification preferences. However, you cannot opt out of essential service-related communications while maintaining an active account. EdgeCipher reserves the right to determine which communications are "service-related" and therefore non-optional.

By using the Platform, you acknowledge and consent to the following regarding AI and machine learning:

• Your trading data, journal entries, behavioral patterns, and interaction data may be processed by AI systems (including third-party AI providers) to generate coaching insights, analysis, and recommendations.
• Your data may be used to train, improve, and refine EdgeCipher's AI models and algorithms.
• Anonymized and aggregated versions of your data may be used for machine learning research and product development without restriction.
• AI-generated outputs based on your data may be refined through automated and manual review processes.
• EdgeCipher is not responsible for the accuracy, completeness, or appropriateness of AI-generated content or for any decisions you make based on such content.

EdgeCipher reserves the absolute right to modify, amend, or replace this Privacy Policy at any time, at its sole discretion. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.

We may, but are not obligated to, notify you of material changes through email, in-app notifications, or prominent notices on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after any modifications constitutes your irrevocable acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. It is your sole responsibility to review this Privacy Policy periodically for changes. If you do not agree with a revised policy, your only remedy is to discontinue use of the Platform.
